Hoodoo Man is from the idea for the Broadway musical I have (or a TV show) about an evil force that takes over this rock singer named Leelan Jack (based on Elton John) running for president in another universe. There are different universes with different outcomes alternative to this one. The evil force (named Stoney, a druggie who read about Jack in the newspaper) puts his mind into Leelan Jack’s body and he becomes Leelan Jack and runs for president with the help of this evil black man named Ragaar. I’ve written twenty-five songs for the show (first one is called Take Me Down On A Saturday Night, then second song is the Voices of the Children Yet Unborn, then there’s a song called Wooden Nightmare where Leelan Jack is floating in a nightmarish world with evil snakes and bloody red rivers, and that’s when he goes into the other guy’s body and Stoney the druggie goes into his body, fourth song would be Hoodoo Man. There are many more after.) The Hoodoo Man is an eight-feet-tall black man with two gold live snakes wrapped around his arms and he can transfer bodies and minds. So now you have a taste of the Hoodoo Man. I have several of these musicals written with all the music, the other one is called Snowboarder From Hell.
